Hello Ladies,

It’s been awhile since we have communicated but I assure you, there is a lot happening behind the scenes.  That said the lodge needs our members to get more involved. The same people seem to do it all and quite frankly, they’re tired. We need fresh ideas and new energy. Please consider giving a little time and/or effort.

We have new WOTM officers working diligently with the LOOM members to provide better food and entertainment. As always, the kitchen is open for lunch M-F 11-2, for dinner W, F, and Sat., and now Thursday evening dinners provided by both the LOOM and the WOTM alternately. So ladies, if you love to cook and would like to share your signature dish with the lodge, call me I will get you the help you need to put it together. Also, there is entertainment on Thursday evenings. Greg Miller band is there for this month and longer.

On June 29th, the WOTM will be serving Chicken and Dumplings.

July 4th there will be an all American cookout with burgers, dogs and sides. Please sign up to bring in a side dish or dessert.

July 6th the LOOM is cooking their delicious Spare Ribs again for just $10. Tickets are on sale at the bar. They always sell out so get your tickets early.

Ladies we would like to have a Bake sale on Thursday the 29th as well. We would appreciate some assistance from you. There will be a sign-up sheet in the lodge for willing volunteers and offerings of baked goods for this sale. There will be an area where the baked goods will be during the hours of 5-8.

We need a chairperson for the month of August. If you have an idea for our monthly fund raiser, please contact me ASAP/.

Rummage Sale: Got good stuff you no longer want? We are planning to have a rummage sale here at the lodge. It might be best when the snowbirds are flying back in. We’ll keep you posted.

Respectfully yours,

Karen Marshall
